The Revista de Ensino de Ciências e Matemática (REnCiMa), eISSN 2179-426X, is a quarterly electronic publication of the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education of the Cruzeiro do Sul University, aimed at disseminating previously refereed works that address results of empirical or theoretical research, and that aim to improve the teaching and learning processes of scientific content. The submitted works should provide reflections on relevant themes for the pursuit of advances in Science and Mathematics Education. |
The articles submitted for publication are assessed by the Editors and Coeditors who will examine the adequacy to REnCiMa’s scope, the compliance with the guidelines contained in the template and legal aspects regarding defamation, copyright violations and plagiarism. If approved, they will be sent to two members of the Editorial Board (Scientific) or the ad hoc Committee of Referees for consideration; in case of divergence of opinions, the articles are sent to a third referee. The choice of referees is made by the Editors considering the approach of the submitted text, the referee’s specific technical competence and the inexistence of any conflict of interests. The evaluation may result in three situations: acceptance through required revisions; submission for a new evaluation round; and rejection. The authors are contacted after the evaluation, being informed about the final decision regarding the submitted text and the procedure for publication. An official communication will be issued via electronic message only when the manuscript has been processed and received definitive opinions (approval or disapproval). |

REnCiMa is a quarterly publication, organized in four regular annual editions. Articles are published after their approval and layout. The File, containing the Summary and the Editorial, is published at the close of the edition. |
REnCiMa uses LOCKSS and CLOCKSS to create a file system distributed among participating libraries and allows them to create permanent magazine files for preservation and restoration. Learn more... |
We use CopySpider as a plagiarism detector program, aiming to test content under the sieve of the existence of undue copies. A manuscript has improper copies when it adapts or transcribes excerpts from other manuscripts without presenting citations of bibliographic references. |
