Abstract

The exclusion of the right to school is parsed from your presence in the memories of youth and adults of an agrarian reform settlement, located in the municipality of João Câmara, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. Through interviews, subjects revealed their memories and social representations of establishing relationship with the school phenomenon, whereas the access to school, not when there were (prior to the conquest of the land), and the context of the new reality of precarious yet seated. Within the framework of the memories are narratives that explain the trajectory of mismatch between the subject and school processes, which result in their respective self-appointments as "uncivil". In the context of their social representations, categorize two dimensions that relate to their respective future projects wich we call and future territorial expectations and future generational expectations.
