Abstract

This article is an attempt to fathom the relationship between sustainability, globalization and education in the least three decodes. It points out the roots of the globalization process, its evolution and consequences in Third World economies and how they can accelerate or hinder economic growth. It also indicates how the concept of sustainability originally addressed lo environment and natural resources had spread over. The author suggests that self-economic growth should be based on education and lists a series of educational measures that should be carried out in order to achieve the intended goals.
