Abstract

ALBUQUERQUE, Amanda Ferreira de  and  COSTA, Luciano Andreatta Carvalho da. (Im)possibilities of problematizing the impacts of the pandemic on human development in Techno-Scientific Teaching:. e-Curriculum [online]. 2023, vol.21, e61559.  Epub Feb 26, 2024. ISSN 1809-3876.  https://doi.org/10.23925/1809-3876.2023v21e61559.

The human development approach places people at the center of well-being analysis. In this sense, it is necessary to develop a techno-scientific education committed to human issues and, consequently, with a humanist education that defends a technological development intertwined with human development. In this sense, this article has the objective of identifying perceptions of engineering professors about the consequences of the pandemic for human development and its relationship with engineering teaching. This objective is based on studies by Bazzo, Morin and Freire. Through the formation of focus groups (GF) and the examination of the material through Content Analysis, we point out the need for an epistemological training of teachers, and the importance of valuing the dialogue between teacher and student in the teaching-learning process in the humanization process of the engineering course.

Keywords : technoscientific education; engineering; covid-19.
