Abstract

This article aims to analyze how Eric Weil understands Education with a view to understanding human beings in the world. It is intended to demonstrate that the Moral Education, defended by Eric Weil, is a privileged way, sine qua non, that helps the human being in the confrontation of violence. It will be evidenced that the educator takes a prominent place in this discussion, since it is his responsability to indicate the means and the ways for universalization, so that nonviolence can support a culture of Peace among human beings. To this end, the methodological path will be taken by taking na approach in Eric Weil’s broad philosophical theory, especially in the Works: Logig of philosophy and Political philosophy, in order to analyze the most relevant points to anchor the conception of the indispensability of education, and also the educator. This research will be eminently supported by bibliographic surveys in Eric Weil’s own Works, as weill as in the comments of some of his commentators.
