Abstract

DALMOLIN, Bernadete Maria; PASSOS, Robert Filipe dos  and  RIBEIRO, Silvana. Social Cartography: experiences production of an Education Aesthetic. Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.25, edossie.10. ISSN 2178-4612.  https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v25.dossie.10.

This article addresses the concept of Social Cartography in the educational context, understanding that it can be a powerful tool in the field. Still, should be understood in what way art and the aesthetic dimension itself can be used as a tool in the same context. Thus, the objective in this text is to understand the way that Social Cartography can potentialize an Education Aesthetic construction. The discussion is portrayed from three distinct sections that will explore the theme. The first section presents the concept of Social Cartography, a methodological strategy of interventional research that seeks to build living maps and life fluxes, presenting the composition of existential territories in its dynamicity and multiplicity. The second section seeks to show in which way experience, in the social cartography perspective, products subject and object in its process, which permits us to think the lifestyles that intend to take part in this artwork. For this, we use the foucaultian concept of self-care as a life producing exercise that aims to be an artwork. At last, in the third section, we present the idea of Social Cartography as a device to produce Educational Aesthetic. To exemplify such possibility, we present cartography realized with children, in which they draw a fictional character from its neighborhood. We figured out that the experience of drawing, creating a fictional character, makes possible to cartograph other possible worlds through imaginative exercise, composing an Education Aesthetic.
