Considering the current social and institutional scenario of African countries, former colonies of Portugal, one of the possibilities for the development of strategies to combat colonialism, racism and any type of discrimination in these territories, are contemporary narratives considered decolonial. The work Primo Narciso by António Antunes Fonseca (2010) is an awareness tactic about the history of the struggle for the liberation of the Angolan people from the bonds of the colonial system, which through the assimilation policy propagated stereotypes, which served to generalize the categorization of race. One of the objectives of Fonseca's literature is to reflect on the socio-political, economic and cultural problems witnessed in Angola during and after colonization. This article is based on the post-colonial literature of Fonseca, which is an essential element against colonial practices, such as the assimilation policy that was the basis of the Portuguese hierarchy system in Angola and that transformed the Angolan subject for years into a commodity.
