A lot has been said about the use of digital technologies in Basic Education, both in official documents and in research and experience reports, however, the actions seen in practice are incipient, not covering the national scenario, which has school realities without infrastructure and with teachers without adequate training. This article is the result of a lecture given at one of the roundtables of the Education Seminar (SemiEdu) 2021, and brings a discussion about this theme, pointing out ways and limitations to effectively be able to do education with digital technologies in the classroom.
