Abstract

The author argues that research on the family improved only when this unit was seen as a group, with its own dynamics and peculiarities. However this kind of perspective risk to neutralize the presence of the individual. The article attempts to recapture inside the family and discusses the political dimension in the interaction of individuals inside each family.
