PRODOC - ( a researche Center on Teaching) was created in 1998 with the objective of discussing Education as a professional in its multiple dimensions, particularities and heterogeneity: the experiences of its various times and space of life and work; the teacher´s professional formation; the challenges; the historical construction of teaching conditions as well as teacher´s social and professional responsibilities in the perspective of an equalitarian society. The participants in this research center, which is organized by the Education College of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (FaE / UFMG) are students and professionals from several teaching institutions.
