The purpose of this research, involving young students and adults of night education, was to demonstrate the importance of the mathematical knowledge exhibited by them in their after-school activities and how such activities could be incorporated into their studies of school mathematics. The sociocultural perspectives of Mathematics Education, with emphasis on Ethnomathematics, were assumed. The objectives were: To interpret how students of the night school math their work and their daily personal situations; to investigate the teaching of school mathematics in night schools; integrating the mathematics of life with those of the school; recognize extracurricular math situations. The study was qualitative, while the information was analyzed by ATLAS-ti software. It has been verified that there is a connection between School Mathematics and extracurricular mathematical knowledge. The Extracurricular Mathematics Model for Adults (MEPA) is proposed to teach mathematics at night time. The MEPA is adapted to the needs of young people and adults, being raised in the context of the ethnomatematization of the classroom.
