The pandemic inserts us, as of 2020, in an unprecedented health crisis, with severe effects on the economy and the labor market. Facing it, both individually and collectively, meant taking care of people. As has been extensively noted by feminist theorists, caregiving tasks are traditionally assigned to women. They are, therefore, at the center of the responses to the health crisis, even though they are not the ones responsible for the major decisions concerning this crisis in Brazil. The health crisis has also increased the inequalities of the labor market and the burden of work with the reproduction of life. This bitter reality will be the guiding thread of our reflections on the work that guides our living in society.
