Abstract

HABOWSKI, Adilson Cristiano; CONTE, Elaine  and  JACOBI, Daniel Felipe. Interlocutions and discourses of legitimation in EaD. Ensaio: aval. pol. públ. educ. [online]. 2020, vol.28, n.106, pp.178-197.  Epub Jan 27, 2020. ISSN 1809-4465.  https://doi.org/10.1590/s0104-40362019002701365.

The paper discusses the plurality of approaches taken from theses in the area of technologies in education, which reflect a panorama of discourses on the legitimacy of distance education (EaD). It is a hermeneutic research with the objective of understanding the issues that constitute the focus of investigations in the field of EaD. In face of the diversity of mapped discourses, we recognize in the dialogues with the theses that there are still many challenges to the formative approaches of the EaD, which reveal ambiguities in the studies of this modality of teaching. Some theses point to an operational tendency of EaD anchored in traditional methods lacking criticality and market-oriented, while others bet on the cultural approaches and the dialogic methods that this modality of teaching provokes in socio-educational praxis.
