Abstract
SANTOS, Gersiney and SANTOS, Daiane Silva. EPISTEMOLOGIES OF REEXISTENCE: A THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL DIALOGUE BETWEEN INTERSECTIONALITY AND CRITICAL AQUILOMBAGE. Rev. Bras. Educ. [online]. 2022, vol.27, e270028. Epub Apr 02, 2022. ISSN 1809-449X. https://doi.org/10.1590/s1413-24782022270028.
The present text proposes a reflection on epistemological possibilities generated from the link of intersectionality with theories and methodologies related to social transformation. Therefore, in the discussion, Afro-Brazilian Ancestral Wisdom is focused as a means to rethink new outlines for the generation and sharing of knowledge. This proposal brings together some theoretical and methodological movements - titled in the text as “epistemologies of reexistence” - in order to relate them in the constitution of the label “critical aquilombage”. The main intention is to contribute to the debate focused on effective ways of bringing formal education and experiential knowledge closer together in Brazil. Thus, critical aquilombage can be seen as an environment of multidimensional (re)connection for interventions attentive to the plural dialogue between realities.
