REINERT, José Nilson and SOMENSI, Neura Fazolo. The most important factors in the elaboration of a masters degree dissertation. Avaliação (Campinas) [online]. 2006, vol.11, n.03, pp.131-152. ISSN 1414-4077.
The purpose of this work was to identify the most important factors involved in the elaboration of a dissertation, the main reason for engaging in the research process that a masters-degree program must focus on. The present work is based on information from a Masters dissertation written for the Masters Degree Program in Administration at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. In this dissertation, an analysis was made of the answers to a questionnaire with open questions, submitted to the 2004 Masters program graduates. The research was characterized as qualitative, of an exploratory and inductive nature. The answers to the questionnaire were examined using the method of content analysis. From the data analysis, we concluded that the advisor; the personal experiences of the student and the professors were the most relevant factors to the elaboration of the Masters dissertation.
