The need to improve and make more useful the process of educational makes knowledge about learning styles a crucial factor to help improvement of teaching. Understand the instruments that are used in teaching practices is essential to incorporate them effectively in the classroom, working their strengths and distributing the similarities and differences between them. This paper aims to analyze five models that have been used in the classroom and to search the comparison of their features, similar and different aspects, so each one is directed to the theme of learning from each type of person. In view of this, literature review was conducted to find relevant information that addresses the problem investigated. So, it was founded that when analyzing the assumptions of theoretical definition of models, there were complications to discover a universal approach. Among the difficulties, its possible to mention the lack of research support in the validity and reliability.
