Abstract

“NavegaR” is a project being developed at E.B. 2/3 Penafiel Nº2 since last September 2006 inside the program “Iniciativa Escolas, Professores e Computadores Portáteis” (roughly meaning Initiative Schools, Teachers and Laptops) aiming to introduce at school, in a daily basis, different ways of working, new tools and up to date concepts, that, not long ago, wouldn’t be looked upon as suitable teaching resources. In this issue we look for assessment on the work done showing the path chosen, the kind of work we’ve developed together, the way we managed to do it, all the theoretical and pedagogic framework plus the technical surrounding procedures. Last, but not the least, the reflexive analyses of all the teachers of the team, we feel the urge of a self-critical look on the formative implications this project has, necessarily, had, and will have on the learning process of its target population. Further more, there’s also no way of overlooking the bonds created among those working on this “adventure” and the future sharing of methods learned as an over lasting lifelong project of life. Our attention will be turned on the “face” of this project above all its digital space we can continuously surf. A closing note on the “daydreaming” side of this project and all it has represented for the team that made it possible and all that meant on the improvement of their school practices.
