Due to the dissemination of digital technologies in various activities undertaken in modern society, education should not be oblivious to this process. From the 1990s, official documents are found to recommend the inclusion and encouraging the use of digital technologies in education since they are considered tools that enable the creation of spaces for learning more meaningful. This paper aims to analyze how was the insertion of digital technologies in Brazilian schools. Are taken as categories for analyzing the actions directed to the recommendation and installation of equipment and initial teacher training for the use of tools. The research method employed was the analysis of documents about the issues. As a clipping, was taken reality of the State of Ceará, focusing on the teachers training for the early years of elementary school, awarded by Pedagogy course at the State University of Ceará, Fortaleza. At the end of this study, it was shown a dislocation between the insertion of digital technologies in education and teacher training for use, suggesting a more incisive role in the initial training of teachers for the pedagogical use of technologies. This perspective sees significant changes in the management of teaching and, consequently, the quality of education.
