Abstract

HENNING, Paula Corrêa. EDUCATIONAL TRUTHS IN BRAZIL AND SPAIN: ENVIRONMENTAL TENSIONS UNDER ANALYSIS. ETD - Educ. Temat. Digit. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.3, pp.674-694.  Epub Sep 23, 2019. ISSN 1676-2592.  https://doi.org/10.20396/etd.v21i1.8651555.

This article aims to analyze two discursive events in the history of Environmental Education (EE) in Brazil and Spain. The analytical corpus of the study is the legal frameworks on education in both countries and the cross-cutting of definitions established by international events and documents on education for environmental concerns. The first event refers to the presence of the interdisciplinary in the school spaces; the second is the configuration of what UNESCO institutes as an unfolding of EA in the current scenario, the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). From the problematization about the concept of truth and neoliberal governmentality, the text assumes post-structuralist studies, especially from Friedrich Nietzsche and Michel Foucault. It is by straining the values of truth that these constructions carry that the exercise of radical criticism proposed by foucault can be minimally operated by us.

Keywords : Environmental education; Interdisciplinarity; Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
