Abstract

GANDIN, Luís Armando; ROCHA, Adriana Rocely Viana da; VASQUES, Andrea Milán  and  CORREA, Tábata Valesca. The concept of enactment in the educational policies: a look at the school evaluation in the context of the Polytechnic High School. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2020, vol.14, e72597.  Epub Apr 20, 2022. This paper aims to discuss the potential of using the concept of enactment in educational policies studies. This concept allows the researcher to analyze educational policies not only in their creation, but also in interpretation and translation done by the ones who work in schools. Firstly, we present a theoretical discussion about the concept of enactment, showing its development in the studies of Stephen J. Ball, Meg Maguire and Annette Braun (2012; 2016). Then, in order to illustrate the use of the concept of enactment in the analysis of a case, we present the result of a study about enactment of the Polytechnic High School policy, instituted by the Secretaria de Educação in the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), from 2012 to 2016.

Keywords : Enactment; Educational Policies; Polytechnic High School.
