The research aimed to analyze, through the method of integrative literature review, how the extension curricularization process has been carried out in health courses according to the theoretical production of the area. It was found that in 2019 there was a greater number of publications (f 2); qualitative analyzes are more used (f 4) and experience reports are predominant (f 2). The selected studies indicate that the curricularization of extension in courses in the health area presents feasibility in the effectiveness of a more humane education, articulating the theoretical and practical knowledge seen throughout the formation, as well as meeting the real demands of society.
