LARA, Ângela Mara de Barros and BRAMBILLA, Marcos Aurélio. Local influence of teacher knowledge on the quality of education in secondary school. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2023, vol.23, n.78, pp.1182-1201. Epub Oct 04, 2023. ISSN 1981-416X. https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.23.078.ds14.
This article aims to present the importance of the teacher's knowledge in the quality of education in secondary education, considering the local influence. For this, a quantitative research was carried out, using the Principal Component Factor (PCF) technique, Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA) and Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR). The results indicate that teaching knowledge is fundamental for the quality of education, since the teacher is responsible for transmitting knowledge to students, which can positively or negatively influence the educational process. Likewise, one cannot fail to address the changes that may occur with the implementation of Law Nº 13.415/17. It is concluded that it is necessary to understand the counter-reforms to give voice to those who are participants in the process and have other perspectives on the proposed legislation.
