Abstract

MELO, Sandra Cordeiro de; BARBOZA NETTO, Natalia  and  LIMA, Carolina Barreiros de. Advances in content analysis in education research. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2024, vol.24, n.80, pp.365-382.  Epub Apr 29, 2024. ISSN 1981-416X.  https://doi.org/10.7213/1981-416x.24.080.ao12.

This article discusses the advances in Content Analysis in educational research, based on bibliographical and documentary research, which intends to present this technique with the help of the Atlas.ti software. Data recovered in two studies developed by a research laboratory on inclusion in education were considered. It was assumed that the approach favors research and questioned whether and how a technological resource can contribute to the respective analyses. In addition to two publications, the article presents documents developed in the research process, generating results in the studies. It also demonstrates the path undertaken and proposes the use of the technique with the help of software, as greater effectiveness in data processing was evidenced, which allowed inferences regarding advances in research with this perspective, although were considered ponderings about the preponderant activity of researchers during this process.
