Abstract

CAETANO, Ana Paula. Complexidade e mediação socioeducativa nas assembléias de turma. Rev. Diálogo Educ. [online]. 2007, vol.07, n.22, pp.67-80. ISSN 1981-416X.

In this article we’ll have a perspective of socio-educative mediation, in a framework of citizenship education and of schools as democratic and just communities. In this sense, we consider that mediation don’t circumscribe to formal mediation devices, but extends to curricular development processes, inside schools and classes. This is why we emphasize the importance of conceptualizations that help to comprehend the social mediation phenomena that operate inside schools and that may be transferred to other educational mediation devices. In this sense, the study of class assemblies, understood as devices that has mediation as one of its functions, can open new lines of interpretation and reflection. Here, is particularly relevant the collective mediation phenomena where the group, as a whole, functions as a conflict mediator. The use of a complexity approach constitutes the main contribute of this article. This article is structured precisely over the conceptualization of this complexity approach, in its general principles, as well as in a mediation complex vision. These principles and these visions are considered in a comparative analysis of three class assembly cases.

Keywords : Complexity; Sócio-Educative Mediation; Conflict; Class Assemblies.
