Abstract

MELGAR JUNIOR, Eduardo Garralaga; CORREA, Suelen Borges Loth  and  NEVES, Janaize Batalha. THE VEGETABLE SOUP BALANCE: (RE) MEANINGS OF A MEAL AS A GIFT. Revista Teias [online]. 2021, vol.22, n.especial, pp.190-201.  Epub Feb 18, 2023. ISSN 1982-0305.  https://doi.org/10.12957/teias.2021.61973.

In this article, we present the story of the soup that was given to the teacher who taught those who were already sentenced not to learn to read. In this sense, we searched with the experiences of the literacy teacher and the girl who learned to read, the heterotopic potencies of the daily event. In this direction, the experiences were many and brought the possibilities of reflection to the curricula practiced in everyday heterotopias. Therefore, we searched in Studies of/in/with the Daily Life, the practices of a public school in Pelotas-RS, which institutes arts of struggle and resistance to the precariousness of life. In the encounters with everyday heterotopias, it was possible to (re)invent ways to counteract the normalizing institutional gaze, which, by imprisoning bodies, seeks to annihilate dreams and desires. The relief given by the student to the literacy teacher who, because she learned to read, was the delight to think of the school as a producer of insurgencies capable of creating dreams and hoping for paths with education. By looking at, feeling and living the experiences in/from/with daily life, creativity makes different schools of what is instituted.

Keywords : heterotopia; everyday life; education; curriculum.
