In this paper we examine the main curricular interventions conducted in the Peronist government (1946-1955) on the primary level of education in Argentina. Our main objective is to account for the introduction of mechanisms for increasing centralization and homogenization both as regards the administration and, mainly, to the organization of content. The reforms were designed to solve two problems. First: the fragmentation of the scholar training. Secondly: the emphasis on teorical aspects of education. To this end, we review source documents, firsthand, prepared by the Ministry of Education in the reference period and the specific literature. We believe that the article illuminates the stage of placing reference within a previous trend higher, while contrasts with phase would start once toppled Juan Domingo Perón.
