Abstract

SANTOS, Marlene Oliveira dos. TEACHERS AND BABIES: AN INTERPRETATIVE-RELATIONAL TEACHING. Eccos Rev. Cient. [online]. 2021, n.58, e13507.  Epub Feb 06, 2024. ISSN 1983-9278.  https://doi.org/10.5585/eccos.n58.13507.

This article discusses the interpretive-relational teaching in Early Childhood Education. The main theoretical arguments dialogue with studies by Tardif, Lessard, Martins Filho, Delgado, Heidegger and other researchers in the field of Early Childhood Education. This was a descriptive research, that had a qualitative approach and listened to six teachers who taught babies in the public school system of a Brazilian municipality. The narratives of each teacher were heard in meetings called Narrative Tertúlias. It was concluded that interpretive-relational teaching is experienced daily by teachers and babies and that every interpretation is followed by an action, because when teachers interpret, they act, establish a relationship and move towards the babies, recognizing them as powerful, capable and creative subjects, founding principle for the pedagogical work.
