Abstract

This research aims to rethink literary reading and its pedagogical practices from the Historical-Cultural Theory and contemporary reading and literature in childhood authors. In this sense, the question is: Which pedagogical practices can contribute to the formation of the reader from an early age? In order to do that, from qualitative research carried out in a Municipal Center of Early Childhood Education in the State of Paraná, it was sought to analyze pedagogical practices organized through classic literary works. The ethics committee approved the approach and methodological tools established for scientific research. From the analyzed data, it is concluded that the teaching action allied to Children's Literature as Art was constituted as one of the possible crossings to create needs in the formation of the reader identity since childhood.
