Abstract

BOUTIN, Aldimara Catarina Brito Delabona  and  FLACH, Simone de Fátima. THE STATE OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE BRAZILIAN STUDENT MOVEMENT IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION. Eccos Rev. Cient. [online]. 2022, n.62, e16977.  Epub Feb 12, 2024. ISSN 1983-9278.  https://doi.org/10.5585/eccos.n62.16977.

This text presents a mapping about the academic production on the Brazilian Student Movement in the field of Education. Therefore, the State of knowledge presented aims to expose the quantitative profile and the incidence of research that took the Student Movement as a research object. To this end, the Brazilian Student Movement is contextualized, based on the research of authors such as Poerner (1979), Mendes Jr. (1982), Fávero (1995), among others who dedicated themselves to studies on the political participation of young Brazilians; and the academic production on the subject in question is analyzed, in order to point out possible gaps and weaknesses in the studies already carried out. From the analysis, it is concluded that, in relation to the dictatorial period started in 1964, there is a predominance of works on its historical reconstruction, through narration of facts and events experienced by students. In addition, in relation to the contemporary Student Movement, there is a tendency to carry out case studies.

Keywords : Student Movement; state of knowledge; education; academic production..
