Abstract

EIDT, Paulino  and  EIDT, Celso. Philosophy, education and emancipation. Conjectura: filos. e Educ. [online]. 2016, vol.21, n.1, pp.63-77. ISSN 2178-4612.  https://doi.org/10.18226/21784612.v22.n1.63.

The text presents textual elements from young Marx’s writings, where it is found a conceptual core which addresses the problematic relation between philosophy and world. Theoretical aspects present in the philosopher’s first writings in which the exigency of promoting the interaction between thought and reality is clear, in other words, treating the philosophical tradition without neglecting to treat themes and dilemmas of the context. Thus, the text presents references of the philosophical position by which Marx faces the speculative character of German philosophy, to propose, on the review of Hegel’s political philosophy, that the criticism of heaven turns into the criticism of earth. What singularizes a thought of this nature is the philosophy’s emancipatory capability. Instead of mere contemplation, Marx proposes the possibility of performing philosophy in the world.
