The present article looks for identifying possible philosophical grounds that may support biometrical area, near to the system CEP/Conep, philosophical grounds that justify its domain opposite to questions relative to ethical revision in Brazilian scientific researches. Therefore, the text starts exposing the way by what occurs the referred ingerence and its ethical-epistemological inadequacy. Following, the text identifies in the origin of the epistéme conception, in Ancient Greek, possible roots of this dispute. Ending the arguments, the text shows that it is up to doubtful appropriation of Descartes’' philosophy that biomedical area consider that can justify its domain over the other sciences, mainly the ones linked to Human and Social Sciences. Therefore, reveals that universilizing procedures established by the system CEP/Conep, at all, don’t have any ground, but only a non justified will of power.
