Abstract: This article aimed to present a brief historical report of the origin, development and consolidation of the Adventist Education Network. Thus, it will be possible to know about its emergence, philosophy of education and the genesis of this confessional network operating in the Brazilian educational scenario for more than a century. The research method includes bibliographical analysis of the main theoreticians of the Brazilian history of education and rescues facts cited by Adventist historians. The research situated the Adventist Education Network in the Brazilian historical context and identified the Seventh-day Adventists as a religious group and as agents in the field of school education.
