Abstract

The present paper maps out and analyzes PNBE’s collection for Childhood Education based on years 2008, 2010, and 2012, in four different childhood education institutions. From the mapping, books were categorized according to the genres and reference tables were created so as to guide teachers on this production. Although the program has several strengths, the process of selection and acquisition of books by PNBE for Childhood Education needs refinement in order to address the specific needs of readers, therefore granting them the right to literature.
