JANEIRO, Artur Rodrigues. Madness and Imagination - Borges and/in Others and/in fragments and/in images-creations. LTP [online]. 2015, vol.33, n.64, pp.145-162. ISSN 2317-0972. https://doi.org/10.2014/LTP-v33n64jan0010.
Sometimes our mind can only believe in what our eyes see. "Sometimes", because our eyes cannot see all the existing things - there are existing things that are invisible and the vision is just another sense from our body. However, without the vision (and other senses), the imagination can reveal things hitherto considered invisible and/or unimaginable. Really invisible things? Or these things are considered invisible because our poor knowledge of the world? Poor? Could not be "pure"? Questions like these that invite us to a new reading of the world - a reading between surreal poetic fragments written by the Argentine Jorge Luis Borges and the images created from another reading of the "book of nature"; created images that are not seen by the eyes of the flesh. Madness? Insanity? Possibilities for an art of life and death, of living and dead, of words and things.
