SANTANA, Maria Silvia Rosa. Study activity: a possibility of changing a teaching practice. Rev. Inter Ação [online]. 2016, vol.41, n.2, pp.441-461. ISSN 0101-7136. https://doi.org/10.5216/ia.v41i2.36491.
The purpose of this research is to defend the thesis that the theoretical study promotes a more conscious educational performance when it is mediated in discussions among the colleagues and in the analysis of practical situations of everyday school life, with regard to the teaching purposes and practices that materialize it. For this, we present the analysis of data collected through the action research developed with a teacher of elementary school in a public school of Mato Grosso do Sul, in order to propose the realization of the activity category as recommended by the Historic-Cultural Approach. The results point to the development of a broadly favorable psychological disposition to the theoretical study and the change in teaching practice, as well as to the emergence of the germ of Developmental Education in the students and the teacher who participated in the Study Activity.
