Abstract

FRANCO, Maria Teresa Bejarano  and  MARTIN, Irene Martínez. INCLUSIVE CULTURE TO EDUCATING IN SEXALITY AND EQUALITY. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2023, vol.32, n.72, pp.17-30.  Epub May 06, 2024. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2023.v32.n72.p17-30.

The new Spanish Education Law proposes a school model based on Universal Design for Learning to foster inclusive culture. This article aims to review the model from the perspective of gender(s) to verify if it considers sex-generic and/ or corporeal identities. A method of critical-interpretative analysis has been followed. It is concluded that although progress has been made in the recognition of diversities, this is not accompanied by better initial teacher training. Three teacher training experiences are proposed in the key of inclusion and feminisms to advance in educating in diverse identities and corporalities as a complement to the model proposed by the new regulations. The conclusions expose the processes of epistemic and applied change necessary to enable advances from the model taking as reference the framework of feminist pedagogies that bet on comprehensive sexuality education.

Keywords : model; sexuality; feminist pedagogy; teacher education..
