This study discusses the role of school psychologists at Federal Institutes, based on the proposition of virtual spaces, with a view to contributing to the improvement of these professionals. Based on critical school psychology and virtual ethnography, the construction of virtual forums showed reflections by psychologists on practices at Federal Institutes. The survey included 93 participants. The results show that the institutional investment for the performance of the school psychologist is still under construction. Reports indicate that the interventions are characterized by the exclusive emphasis on serving students with academic performance problems or are limited to promoting professional opportunities for students. The virtual spaces contributed to the continuous improvement of these psychologists.
