Abstract

MARI, Cézar Luiz De; HORACIO, Amarildo Souza  and  SANTOS, Marcelo Loures dos. Learning and experiences: the UFMG bachelor's degree in rural education as a space of mediation between social movements and university. Rev. Inter Ação [online]. 2016, vol.41, n.2, pp.463-484. ISSN 0101-7136.  https://doi.org/10.5216/ia.v41i2.40730.

In this paper, the authors analyse the implementation experience of the first two classes of the Degree of Rural Education (LeCampo) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. The goal was to understand the levels of participation of social movements in the organization of the educational actions and proposals of the program. The category "Organicity" was the guide of the analysis, highlighting the necessary political and pedagogical mediations of the subjects in the project. We concluded that the participation of the subjects is a condition for consolidating a politicized and emancipatory education, as presumed in the project.

Keywords : Rural Education; Organicity; Bachelor in Rural Education; Organic Intellectuals.
