CENCI, Angelo Vitório and PETRY, Cleriston. Beyond neoliberal rationality: the common and the instituting praxis as ethical-formative principles. Rev. Educ. Questão [online]. 2020, vol.58, n.56, e-21291. Epub Aug 11, 2021. ISSN 1981-1802. https://doi.org/10.21680/1981-1802.2020v58n56id21291.
this text takes as reference the studies of Pierre Dardot and Christian Laval to explore the theme of human formation situated beyond the limits of neoliberal rationality that permeates the current scenario of Western societies. In a first step, we seek to show how neoliberalism links a type of singular rationality and an atomized conception of the subject. In the sequence, is indicated that it is associated with an individualistic view of ethics and a misused notion of formation. Finally, the political principle of the common and the concept of instituting praxis are presented, conceiving them in an ethical-formative sense. It is argued that the principle of the common can be postulated as a formative and justice principle, in addition to helping to think the subject from a critical perspective to neoliberal subjectivation. Likewise, it is argued that the instituting praxis implies an intrinsically formative praxis as it self-produces the subjects in the course of their own action, requiring them to be effectively involved in establishing the rules of their functioning and co-responsibility for them.
