The article seeks to explore the intersection between gender and culture in the diversity of Latin American Constitutionalism. Based on the decolonial gender studies, the central question is to problematize the Law on the Protection of Women from the Plurinational State of Bolivia. At the same time, one must interpret Latin American Constitutionalism with its epistemological pluralism of distinct social movements. In order to do so, the article explores the gender discussions in Latin America and the way in which the gender issue gained distinct narrative of the Eurocentric narrative of gender.
