This article discusses how a pedagogical proposal carried out in a Mathematics degree class provided new teaching knowledge to five undergraduate students by creating digital authorial materials with Transversal Contemporary Themes. Thus, this article narrates the development of learning with the use of Contemporary Transversal Themes in pedagogical practices with future Mathematics teachers. A qualitative study is approached to analyze the digital authorial materials produced by the students together with interviews carried out at the end of the pedagogical practice. With this investigation, the undergraduates took on the role of promoters of their own learning, promoting and setting the discussion of Contemporary Transversal Themes in Basic Education classrooms, promoting a prosperous environment for teaching and learning Mathematics.
