The article is an answer to the paper published by Piccolo, Moscardini and Costa in volume 16, number 1 of this journal, in which the authors analyzed my bibliographic production published in scientific journals. Some facts about my personal life, intimately related to my academic path, are described so as to enable the radical understanding of my theoretical position. A large portion of the references supporting the article was published some decades ago. This is due to the fact that great theoretical contributions in Human Sciences emerged in the middle of the last century. This means that the excessive concern about how up to date my references were, when evaluated in terms of chronology, leads the researchers to choose to ignore the breadth and richness of the theoretical systematization of that period.
