This paper presents some questions on alternative conceptions involving Engineering and Mathematics students and those of Master’s Degree in Physics of the State University of Maringá. It is made an analysis, starting from the results of a questionnaire, about the probable causes that explains the difficulties of the occurrence of conceptual changes (in a galilean-newtonian approach) in these degrees of formation. It is investigated also some notions about history of physics involving undergraduate students.
