Social transformations have imposed a constant technological and pedagogical evolution, which quickly creates gaps and integration difficulties. In order to fight this situation, people have to change their behavior, postures and mentality. Most private institutions and government agencies have been reflecting upon this issue, assuming that education and training play a key role in the actual context of permanent modernization. Everyone ought to see them as valuable tools to increase knowledge and personal satisfaction. So, in order to teach and learn in the context of the so-called Learning Organizations, new methodologies, open minds and alternative techniques are needed. This paper aims to present the principles, methodologies, technologies and strategies to implement innovative eLearning and bLearning solutions in professional training contexts. It also aims to make a systemic analysis and present two case studies, one about self-learning contexts and the other one about collaborative learning contexts. Both case studies occurred within the Portugal Telecom group.
