In this research, we discussed the mapping of twenty articles that were published in the period from 2010 to 2020 in journals classified with Qualis A1 and A2 in the area of teaching and are analyzed from the perspective of the systematic review within the scope of the State of Knowledge. The objective is to analyze the works published in periodicals, which had the purpose of discussing the Contributions of the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Initiation to Teaching (PIBID) on the initial formation of the mathematics teacher, from the point of view of these researchers, according to the periodicals of research available classified by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Qualis periodical classification, quadrennium 2013-2016. By analyzing the articles, it was possible to understand the impact of PIBID on teacher training, in particular, the training of Mathematics teachers. The research results indicate that PIBID helps future teachers to be inserted in the classroom, stimulating teaching knowledge that is encouraged with experience and acquired with experience in the school environment.
