This theoretical essay aims to characterize the anthropomorphism and realism assumptions in Lukács’ Aesthetics. The tension that the objectivity promotes in the social being’s subjectivity provided by the realist art, makes it possible for mankind to approach the paces of contradictions in reality. This enables mankind to sharpen their criticism, while searching for emancipation. We believe a school practice upholded by the need to take ownership of the classical culture with the multiple contradictions of reality is an alternative to provide a critical emancipatory Education.
