The present paper has as goal to analyze the TALIS 2009 survey results (OECD), in particular focusing Austria, Brazil and Slovakia. We emphasize that data related with training and developing teachers, as well as data about hours of working, contractual situation, material support and number of students. We also linked our analysis to the capitalist context of organization and management of the Nation-State. From these data, we indicate the main differences and similarities, indicating the limitations and contributions of TALIS research.
