This article discusses teacher education at university, specifically the construction of an academic relation with knowledge. It uses the notion of relationship with knowledge as proposed by Bernard Charlot. It also uses the reflections of Jean Pierre Terrails on the exclusiveness of schooling to discuss the implications and challenges of this construction.
