The objective of this study is to investigate, through a structured process of searching, the “state of the art” of the relationship between Post-Graduate Studies and Basic Education in Brazil with a view to a systemic integration between these two educational levels. It is justified by the need to consider the quality of Post-Graduation and the deficiencies in Basic Education. The reference research method is qualitative and quantitative. The results indicate the lack of direct studies on systemic integration and the polarization around the notion of “quality in education”.
