The aim of this presentation is to conceptualize an idea of quality in terciary-Ievel education and its evaluation. To do so we are going to revise, first, the conceptions of two international organizations (World Bane, UNESCO) in order to identify the dominant trends for each case. Then, we are going to present Models for Evaluation of the Quality in Terciary Education, analyzing their philosophical, political and methodological underlying conceptions.
